As a HUGE fan of the past rambles, it kills me to say that i found this episode lacking.
I understand the shift to live gameplay, as you mentioned that talking over pre-recorded video seemed awkward. However, i found the conversation (or ramble) a bit stilted. It just didn’t have the flow of the past rambles. With Kev having to play the game and Dave being a bit reserved, most of the conversation fell to Pacman. Now that’s not a bad thing, but i felt it affected the video.
I also understand that this is the first attempt at this format and as you said, there might be some teething issues. Just thought i’d share my concerns, though hopefully they will become unfounded as newer episodes come out.
Nevertheless i still enjoyed this episode, and would like to thank you for taking the extra hour of your days to record new rambles.
Oh come on guys. no love for the rambles??? Where da comments at?
