Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Echoes of Aincrad, focusing on Unanswered//butterfly, the special movie included through the game’s bonus contents app. The footage follows Emirun and Rex as they reunite inside the virtual world of Sword Art Online.
Developed by Game Studio Inc., Echoes of Aincrad is a single-player JRPG where players create their own avatar, choose gear and combat style, and explore the floating castle of Aincrad through real-time action combat.
Echoes of Aincrad is launching on July 10, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
