Angel and the Badman is being framed as a modern remake of the 1947 western, with the teaser leaning into wounded-gunslinger mythology, quiet refuge and the moral conflict that follows. It looks less like a sprawling frontier epic than a more intimate character western with a faith-tinged edge.
