Nintendo has announced that the Virtual Boy is making a comeback through the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service.
Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics will bring 14 games from the short-lived 3D handheld to the Nintendo Switch platforms, with releases planned over time. Titles confirmed so far include Mario’s Tennis, Galactic Pinball, Teleroboxer and Mario Clash.
To play, you’ll need a dedicated accessory designed to recreate the original Virtual Boy’s stereoscopic effect, with a cardboard version also being made available through the My Nintendo Store.
Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics arrives on February 17, 2026, exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
