Gaming For Good – nDreams Charity Auction

nDreams is a UK-based game developer/publisher, founded by former Eidos Creative Director, Patrick O’Luanaigh in 2006. They are best known for being a publisher in the PlayStation Home virtual world and for creating Xi and Lewis Hamilton: Secret Life. More recently, they have been developing and publishing a few experimental mobile and tablet games for iOS/Android, and working on cross-platform VR games. You may have heard about their first VR project, SkyDIEving.

Today, they announced a series of online charity auctions that will be running from the 7th November 2013 with the intention of raising money for charity – something Big Red Barrel and its community is always supportive of.

  • Women for Women International
  • Macular Society
  • Tree of Hope
  • Mind
  • Alzheimer’s Research UK

  • The Variety Club Children’s Charity
  • and SpecialEffect, a charity we are well acquinted with.

As well as some fantastic gaming goodies up for grabs, there will also be the option to bid on some truly unique items and experiences including:

  • Take part in a motion-capture session at Shepperton Studios
  • A unique signed print by award-winning Nat Geo photographer, Marcus Bleasdale
  • Oculus Rift VR Lunch with nDreams CEO Patrick O’Luanaigh
  • Personalised In Game Easter Eggs / Cheats
  • The Co-Op Video Game Assistant Service
