BRB UK 35: Tactical Banana

Well, hello there! We’re all recovering from our Extra Life marathons โ€“ so we’ve probably talked more codswallop than usual this week. Regardless, why don’t you join Dan, Jon and Tim for their take on the week’s gaming news!

This week, we prattle endlessly about:

  • Extra Life 2012
  • Borderlands is coming to iOS
  • Wii U Roundup:
    • Nintendo’s selling the Wii U below cost โ€“ but will they make their money back on games?
    • Mass Effect 3
    • FIFA 13
  • Need for Speed: Most Wanted
  • Fuse
  • PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Demo (PS3/Vita)
  • Punch Quest (iOS)
  • Sports Champions 2 (PS3 Move)
  • The Great British Debate: Is 7 months long enough to wait before a major hardware refresh?

We appreciate you chaps and chapettes taking time out of your week to listen to our show. For your convenience, you can simply download the MP3 by clicking HERE or you can subscribe via iTunes, RSS or Zune and stay up to date. There’s also bonus content for our wonderful BRB App owners!

  1. Great show, Chaps. However, as an overly loyal apple fanboy I must defend the iPad 4. Sadly, a one year cycle is not enough in these days where 9 months after product launch consumers are starting to complain that apple has fallen behind the times. With a new android device being released monthly apple must respond in kind. Not to manipulate iPad 3 owners to upgrade too soon, but to stay competitive for people looking to purchase thier first tablet this holiday season. With technology advancing so rapidly (omg 5 milimeter iMac!) consumers must change the mindset that new releases somehow take away from previous gen hardware.

Thanks again for my weekly dose of uppercrust/ lower crust Britishness. (Although I prefer my cucumber sandwiches without the crust)
