Big Red Barrelcast 125: Switched

It’s the first Big Red Barrelcast of 2017!

Pacman, Kev, and Dave kickoff the new year by babbling on about:

  • The Nintendo Switch
  • Switch accessories
  • Switch online
  • Switch launch titles
  • Other miscellaneous Switch news
  • Season passes
  • Nintendo Classic gets hacked
  • Shoutouts
  • Bonus content for lovely app users.

We’d love to give you all some sort of incredible hug immediately followed by a polite conversation about how cool you are, but frankly, we can’t afford the travel expenses. So, while we save our pennies, cents, and whatever the heck Canadians use, we’ll offer you some download links to help bide the time. Subscribe here. Here’s the RSS feed.  Leave an iTunes review here. Download the mp3 here.

Hey guys great podcast as always I’ve been listening to brb for a few years now and just wanted to say it’s great news that Dave is getting married! Congratulations man

  3. coives

Yeah congrats man. The problem is, all your time belongs to her now… Enjoy! 😀

Greetings and salutations good Sirs! Good to be back again, I tell ya.

Dave – Congratulations on your eventual marriage to your one beloved 🙂

Kev – I’m with you on the Switch. I was almost happy to buy it in shithouse AUD ($470!!!) just to play
Zelda but with the accessories that I probably want? – I’m looking at something near on the original PS3 price. Eff THAT for a joke. It could never be justified. Never. I mean ever.

PacMan – You reminded me to re-play Killzone Mercenary and dust off the vita again, so thank-you.
But I do want to know – Where did your 3ds go? How did you lose it after 6 months? Misplaced it and never found? Or lost lost. Like in a lake at Banff or Saskatchewan or something?

So good to hear you guys again! I have severely missed your collective jest and podcasting. Mining is taking its toll on me and you help to keep me sane on my long days away.

    Keep it up!

    • If memory serves, Pacman’s 3DS got stolen and he never got around to replacing it. Absolutely gutted because there are some cracking titles on that platform that have come out since.
