The first trailer for In The Grey finally puts Guy Ritchie’s delayed action thriller into view. Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza González lead a covert team sent to steal back a billion-dollar fortune, with the footage leaning into the film’s more polished mercenary-thriller angle.
It looks a little less wisecracking than some of Ritchie’s recent work, but there is still plenty of swagger in the way the job, the pressure and the team dynamic are framed. Black Bear is clearly selling this on cast chemistry and clean, muscular action.
