Shiro Unlimited and Funday Games have announced Northgard Battlegrounds, a standalone spin-off that pushes the Northgard series into city-building auto-battler territory.
The reveal trailer sets out the broad pitch straight away, mixing settlement management with asynchronous PvP rather than the more traditional real-time strategy focus the series is known for.
Northgard Battlegrounds is launching in 2026 for PC.
