Last Mage blends fast-paced survival combat with a grid-based inventory system, tasking players with building powerful spell combinations while managing limited backpack space. Players take on the role of the last surviving mage, exploring monster-filled dungeons to uncover the source of a spreading disaster.
Spells can be customised with a wide range of upgrades, allowing for different playstyles, while items of varying shapes and rarities must be carefully arranged to maximise efficiency. Early Access currently includes multiple characters, several maps, dozens of items and a large pool of upgrades to experiment with.
Last Mage will launch in Steam Early Access for PC on 24 February, 2026.
