God of War: Sons of Sparta has launched today following its reveal during State of Play 2026. Developed by Santa Monica Studio, the side-scrolling entry rewinds to the Spartan brothers’ Agoge training, placing players in control of young Kratos and Deimos as they first wield the Gifts of Olympus against mythic beasts. The trailer showcases classic God of War brutality reimagined through fast-paced 2D combat and platforming.
