Confidential Killings – A Detective Game is a gritty investigative thriller from developers BRANE and Lorenzo Boni, set against the glamour and rot of 1970s Hollywood. Players investigate a string of brutal murders, interrogating actors, writers, and producers while piecing together evidence on a classic string board to uncover how seemingly unrelated cases connect.
Rather than leaning on traditional hidden-object mechanics, the game focuses on deduction, contradiction-spotting, and narrative reasoning, wrapped in a noir graphic-novel art style and moody soundtrack. It launches alongside a Steam bundle featuring fellow detective titles The Rise of the Golden Idol and The Roottrees Are Dead.
