MGM+ has released the first trailer for its upcoming Robin Hood series, which reimagines the 12th-century legend as a tale of rebellion against Norman rule. Starring Jack Patten as Rob, Lauren McQueen as Marian and Sean Bean as the Sheriff of Nottingham, the show follows Robert of Locksley as he rises from tragedy to lead a band of outlaws in Sherwood Forest.
The series is co-created by John Glenn and Jonathan English, with Todd Lieberman as executive producer, and features Connie Nielsen, Lydia Peckham and Steven Waddington in supporting roles.
Robin Hood premieres on November 02 on MGM+, with two episodes airing on launch night.
