Nintendo has unveiled Pokémon Pokopia, a new spin-off that leans into life simulation. The game puts players in control of a human-form Ditto who gradually learns abilities from other Pokémon to gather resources, shape terrain and build furniture.
Bulbasaur helps you grow plants, Squirtle lets you water them, and Hitmonchan’s punch can alter the landscape. The debut trailer also showed Scyther cutting down foliage, Drilbur redirecting a waterfall and Diglett tending a vegetable patch. Beach areas, house interiors and even a day-night cycle were also briefly shown.
Pokémon Pokopia is set to launch in 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2.
