Square Enix is bringing Final Fantasy XIV Online to Nintendo Switch 2, with this gameplay trailer putting the long-running MMORPG through some familiar Warrior of Light business.
The footage keeps to the essentials, mixing party battles, jobs, mounts and big fantasy scenery rather than getting lost in expansion detail. It is less about a new adventure and more about getting Eorzea running on Nintendo’s newer hardware.
Final Fantasy XIV Online begins early access in August 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2.
