Lionsgate’s trailer for The Dreadful trades on atmosphere first, putting Sophie Turner and Kit Harington into a much grimmer kind of reunion. Set against a medieval backdrop, it frames Turner’s Anne between isolation, grief and something supernatural edging into view.
The footage keeps things fairly restrained, but there is enough there to suggest a slower, more folk-horror shaped film than a jump-scare machine. Marcia Gay Harden’s presence helps give it some extra bite as well.
The Dreadful lands in cinemas and arrives on digital on February 20, 2026.
