Angel Studios has put out the final trailer for Animal Farm, with Andy Serkis taking another run at George Orwell’s allegory as a fully animated feature. The new footage pushes the rebellion, the power struggle and the story’s darker turn without sanding off the edge completely.
Serkis directs a voice cast that includes Seth Rogen and Glenn Close, and the trailer gives this version a slightly stranger tone than a straight family animation pitch. It still looks accessible, but there is enough bite in the material to suggest it is not treating Orwell’s story as background dressing.
Animal Farm lands in cinemas on May 1, 2026.
