Secret Mode and Fuse Games have offered a proper gameplay look at Star Wars: Galactic Racer, a runs-based racer set in the Outer Rim after the fall of the Empire. The new footage shows off the Galactic League, with syndicates backing an unsanctioned circuit built around speed, risk and a bit of chaos.
StarWars.com frames this one as a fresh spin on Star Wars racing rather than a straight podracer revival, though there is clearly some of that DNA in the mix. From what is shown here, it looks like the kind of game that wants to balance arcade spectacle with a more repeatable run structure.
