HypeTrain Digital and Push On have put out a proper gameplay look at Alkahest, a first-person action RPG set in a muddy medieval fantasy world. The trailer focuses on close-quarters combat, with enemies getting kicked off ledges, set alight and battered around the environment rather than just chopped through.
It also gives a clearer sense of the game’s broader setup. You play as the youngest son of a petty lord, drawn into investigating goblin raids on the border of Kadanor, with alchemy, stealth and improvised tools all feeding into how you approach encounters.
Alkahest is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
