Xbox and The Coalition have put gameplay front and centre for Gears of War: E-Day, taking the series back to Emergence Day with Marcus Fenix and Dom caught in the first Locust attack. The trailer sticks close to the cover-shooter brutality that built the series, but frames it as an origin prequel set before the original Gears of War.
Gears of War: E-Day is launching on October 6, 2026 for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
