Netflix has released the official teaser for Human Vapor, an eight-episode reimagining of Toho’s 1960 sci-fi film from Netflix Japan.
The teaser centres on a murderer who can transform into gas, slipping past barriers and turning each announced killing into a new wave of public panic. Shun Oguri and Yu Aoi lead the cast, with Yeon Sang-ho and Ryu Yong-jae writing and Shinzo Katayama directing.
Human Vapor premieres on Netflix on July 2, 2026.
