Lionsgate has released a second trailer for Power Ballad, putting more weight on the breakdown between Paul Rudd’s wedding singer and Nick Jonas’ fading pop star. The new footage pushes the rivalry harder, as a shared song becomes a fight over credit, ownership and wounded pride.
John Carney directs the music comedy, with the trailer still keeping the focus on bruised egos rather than turning the whole thing into a broad showbiz farce.
Power Ballad lands in cinemas on June 5, 2026.
