Deep Silver and 4A Games have formally unveiled METRO 2039, and the reveal trailer leans hard into the series' darker, more claustrophobic side as it heads back into Moscow's tunnels.
Post-reveal coverage says this entry follows a new voiced protagonist known as The Stranger, giving the series a fresh lead while keeping the bleak subterranean setting firmly intact.
METRO 2039 is launching in Winter 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
