Developer Dark Machine Games and publisher DreadXP have announced a sizeable anniversary update for White Knuckle, arriving later this week. The horror speed-climbing roguelike expands its core systems with the addition of Trinkets and Bindings, which introduce new ways to customise runs through buffs and trade-offs.
The update also revamps progression with Facility Credits and upgrades, alongside new content including a challenge map, updated scoring systems and a Competitive Mode aimed at speedrunners. These additions build on the game’s tense climbing mechanics, where precision and resource management are key to surviving each ascent.
White Knuckle is launching on April 17 for PC.
