The Rip drops Matt Damon and Ben Affleck into a tense crime thriller, with the trailer following a team of Miami cops who stumble across millions in cash inside a derelict stash house. From there it becomes a trust game, with the money, the people behind it and the officers around it all looking equally dangerous.
Netflix is selling this as a pressure-cooker more than a straight action film, even if the trailer still finds room for shootouts and car chases. Steven Yeun and Teyana Taylor are also in the mix, with Joe Carnahan directing.
The Rip starts streaming on Netflix on January 16, 2026.
