Revealed during today’s State of Play, Zero Parades: For Dead Spies is the next game from ZA/UM, the team behind Disco Elysium. Described as a narrative-first espionage RPG, it puts players in the shoes of Hershel, a gifted but down-on-his-luck operative navigating a world fuelled by paranoia, betrayal and inevitable failure.
Like its predecessor, this is a cRPG at its core, but ZA/UM is adding fresh elements such as dramatic encounters, failing forward mechanics, exertion and conditioning systems.
Zero Parades: For Dead Spies is set to launch on PC and PlayStation 5 in 2026.
