Housemarque opened today’s State of Play with Saros, showing off an extended gameplay demo.
This new adventure stars Rahul Kohli as Arjun Devraj, who finds himself stranded on the shifting world of Carcosa. The sun itself plays a key role, with its eclipse fuelling weapons and twisting time in strange ways.
The demo highlighted both Housemarque’s visual tech and some of Devraj’s abilities, including the Soltari Shield, which deflects and absorbs projectiles, and Second Chance, a revive that triggers after the first death. Players will also be able to uncover Holologs scattered across Carcosa to piece together its history.
The showcase ended on the reveal of a colossal boss, though the fight itself was cut short.
Saros launches March 20, 2026, on PC and PlayStation 5.
