Bloober Team – the developers behind The Medium and Blair Witch, have begain a partnership of sorts with Konami.
As detailed on Bloober Team’s investor relations website, the partnership will “include jointly developing selected contents and exchanging know-how.”
There hasn’t been any projects named right now but previous rumours have suggested that Konami has been outsourcing Silent Hill projects to third-party developers. Adding this to the news that Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka (who had also worked with Bloober Team) has teased that a project will be announced this Summer, calling it “the one you’re kinda hoping to hear about.”
There hasn’t been a Silent Hill title since 2012’s Book of Memories and then P.T. (that teased the now cancelled, Hideo Kojima-led title Silent Hills) back in 2014.
