Following a year absence for the WWE 2K series of games, a new teaser trailer proudly announces the champ is ready to return to the ring.
Unveiled during Wrestlemania, this short video shows gameplay of a match-up between Master of the 619, Rey Mysterio (this year’s cover star), and the Swiss Superman, Cesario.
WWE 2K22 will be the first title since the pretty heavily beaten down 2K20, which saw reports of glitches, crashes, and even an embarrassing issue that saw the game unable to start during the first week of January 2020. Hopefully, this new iteration allows us to bury the old technical issues in a casket match where they can… Rest in Pease.
There’s currently no confirmed launch platforms or release date for WWE 2K22 but you can expect to see it to release sometime this year.
