For the second time since the Switch’s launch back in 2017, Nintendo has announced a new version of their handheld-home console hybrid themed around their mascot.
However, instead of just theming the system’s joy cons or dock, the Nintendo Switch – Mario Red & Blue Edition emblazons the full console and its accessories in the chubby plumber’s iconic clothing colours.
Along with the colourful console, this bundle comes with a carrying case that features logo icons of Mario’s cap, gloves and overalls, along with the same shade of Red and Blue as The Nintendo Switch itself.
Though there’s no mention of a price here in the UK, folks over in North America should expect to see this version of the console priced at $299.99 (or double that if there’s a stock shortage all of a sudden).
Seeing that our website theming is of a similar colour scheme, we might have fallen in love with the Nintendo Switch all over again.
Launching alongside Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, the Nintendo Switch – Mario Red & Blue Edition will be available in stores from February 12.
