Hello! It’s that time of the week for a little smidge of British videogaming podcastery courtesy of Dan, Jon and Tim; we love to make things as complicated as possible for ourselves, so it’s a show of two halves this week.
This week, we burble on about:
- Jon and Dan have a XL confession
- Nintendo Direct
- Popcap’s Solitaire Blitz
- New PS Plus awesomeness on the horizon
- Soul Sacrifice demo impressions (PSV)
- Injustice: Gods Amongst Us demo impressions
- The National Union of Journalists gaming journalism event
- Loading Bar’s LucasArts wake
We appreciate you chaps and chapettes taking time out of your week to listen to our show. For your convenience, you can simply download the MP3 by clicking HERE or you can subscribe via iTunes, RSS or Zune and stay up to date.

Interesting cast this week chaps. In a good way. Kudos to Tim for putting himself out there and do some research to assist the people that are interested in games journalism and for being all growd up. Injustice was looking interesting BUT I played mortal kombat vs dc all those years ago and was so bored by it and although this looks better and doesn’t have the awkwardness of the toned down fatalities (you can’t possibly rip out supermans heart and he can’t do it to someone else) I am still not sold on it. I am however sad enough to be (guiltily) enjoying defiance. I don’t expect anyone here to lower themselves to playing it but the premise just got too much and I had to give it a bash. Anyway, somebody had to ramble incoherently as Tim wasn’t going too so I’ve done it for him.

Isn’t there an injustice series of comic books out? I think they expand on the premise of the game itself.
