Amazon US had a sale on The Good Place (Prime Video) so I picked up both seasons. I’d already seen Season 1 on Netflix and did not want to wait til September for Season 2 to show up so I bought both. Good times – just when you think the writers have nowhere to go with their premise they do a complete 180 and that surprises and delights.

For US viewers, Colossal is on Hulu. It’s a film I keep telling myself I need to watch but for some reason haven’t yet.

Woah woah woah – Pharah’s butt is glorious…. leave bae alone!

  3. Nothing on Mei’s though…

    Fun show as always ladies.

I watched Bright about 24 hours after Twitter universally decided it was awful. My wife and I really enjoyed it. I wouldn’t say it is flawless but it was a fun tense ride with elves. Not that I disagree with anyone who wouldn’t want anything to do with Max Landis…

Anyone excited for Altered Carbon on Netflix? I have had the book on my shelf for ages but I suspect I won’t get to it until after I have watched the show.

Same, re the end of season one of Good Place. I love the way show went afterwards, as I thought it was coming to a dead end after season one finale. In any other show, it would have went bad after season one’s main reveal, but here writers/creators had enough creativity for an interesting settings and further character development.

I am really excited for Altered Carbon. I will be talking about it on Geek Speak as soon as I watch it. Add to that Mute and Annihilation, and so many great things are coming Netflix’s way!

Caught up with The Good Place, and the writers again did not disappoint. Looking forward to Season 3.

    Season 2 spoiler follows:
I loved how in the last episode Michael becomes a bartender to help steer Elinor in the right direction. Do you think it’s possible Michael is an angel, or THE archangel? His description of how he got Janet was a bit evasive I thought.
