BRB UK 157: Tim Doesn’t Destiny

Hello to you dear listeners of young and old. It’s all hands on deck here at Barrel Towers thanks to the upcoming onslaught of video games being released into the world and upon our senses.

So while Dan, Tim and Coleman have some triple A title prep-work to do, you can listen to them discuss:

  • A Watch_Dogs Complete Edition hit the Xbox One for some reason
  • Could Nintendo’s NX console be a diskless unit?
  • Prepare to shell out some more Rock Band cash
  • Grand Theft Auto V brings its video editor to consoles
  • More Destiny and Amiibo updates
  • YouTube Gaming is a thing
  • Dan tries his hand at Dragon Age Inquisition
  • Coleman revisits his childhood with the Mega Man Legacy Collection
  • Tim reviews Broken Sword: The Serpent’s Curse

We appreciate you chaps taking time out of your week to listen to our show.  For your convenience, you can simply download the MP3 by clicking HERE or you can subscribe via iTunes, RSS or Zune and stay up to date.

    Hi!

Thank you BRBUK for once again making my insomnia bearable.

Competition Entry: I’ve always thought a nice firm poo is better than a fart (a 3 or a 4 on the Bristol Stool Scale).

  2. Great show this week Guys

I must say I played through Watchdogs and It was okay it was the victim of its own hype imo

As i said to Coleman on the twitters im in total agreement with Tim about Destiny after effing up year one i think the major DLC should have been free because I have no interest playing Destiny after the shambles of a launch let alone pay even more money out towards this game.

I kickstarted Broken Sword and have been dying for someone to review it on the podcast, its one of my favourite game series of all time and the new one delivered 100% for me, I dont back alot of kickstarter projects but I just couldn’t not back this and after completing it I feel like my money was well used and I got value for my investment.

After losing in the curse word hunt on twitter I feel like I can recite this whole podcast word for word now after listening to it a few times over haha

COMPETITION ENTRY : the one thing better than a fart is when you have an itchy inner ear and you stick your finger in your lug hole and shake it about or get your ears syringed it’s like an inside head massage oooooh either that or when you scratch your bum cheek and you can feel it somewhere else … sounds wrong but you know what i mean, nerve endings ect embarrassedembarrassedembarrassed

Juggernoggingly brilliant show gents after the week I’ve had. A wonderful time laughing and concerned looks from co-workers has made my day. Thank you!

5 out of 5 Barrels. Great that your back together now till DESTINY speaking basically B\*\*\*ocks!

  4. Competition Entry – Setting off a smoke bomb in your underpants and running through town singing Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon, it’s like a fart… but better!

PS if I win I’d like to donate my prize to medical fart research #generosity

If this Ryse thing happens, I’d be interested in playing some multiplayer – already did some and enjoyed it.

Can understand why you backed it there were some very enjoyable moments in 5 and the previous games must have been held in even higher regard in their time. Guessing you understood my criticisms too though hmmm Which one of the previous games do you think is a highlight and should I look for a way to play it in future or did I get the best experience trying Broken Sword?

If this Ryse thing happens, I’d be interested in playing some multiplayer – already did some and enjoyed it.

I always knew there was a reason why I liked you, Stingo thumb

Actual Insomnia or Insomnia Gaming Festival? Couldn’t have been that fun if you had to listen to us for entertainment.

That’s a good skill to have, you should just keep quoting this episode to anybody that will listen. thumb

The way to get past the strange looks is to play the show out loud to them. Failing that, ask MadgesVag to recite the show to them each week. happy

If I thought that would work, I’d be all over that.

@Coleman Suppose we live in a universe where there were Amiibos from Ryse – would you buy them?
