BRB Boom 14: KAK

It’s time, once again, to put boom in your boom and listen to BRB Boom.  This week DogsDie, Smelly Pirate and Yoshifett nerd out about Kickstarter, a bracket to determine the best digital pinball game, Diablo 3 and other topics that affect today’s gamer.

Please be sure to subscribe to the BRB Boom feed on iTunes or RSS. If you insist, you can always just download the mp3. If you are currently using a computer with iTunes on it, would you mind heading over there and leaving some feedback? Thanks for the Diggs!

Wow – can’t believe I’m first in. Entertaining show, though I miss the paladin and mage segment from the previous weeks.

As for Kickstarter, I think of it like cable tv – if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. Plenty of other things on the internet to pay attention to.

It’d be great if could follow through with your idea of having a special guest on your next episode.

    I like Kickstarter.

Thanks to Kickstarter we have Yousicals, right?

You lose about 7% of donations on Kickstarter. 5% to Kickstarter and 2% to Amazon.

On the subject of digi-Pinball I’m a fan of Dragon’s Revenge which was on the Sega Megadrive. Any one played it or even remember that it existed?

I am aware of the system, not of the game. We were a strictly Nintendo household growing up. I had a few friends with Segas, but I generally found reasons to stop hanging out with them. Alex Kidd’s Miracle World or whatever just made me feel like a second-rate citizen.

You haven’t truly lived if you haven’t at least dabbled in sega-sexuality. Oh, the sheltered life of a Mormon. If only we could all be Mormon…Donny Osmond would still be cool and we’d eat nothing but casserole till kingdom come. I remember an even seedier Sega game called Toejam and Earl. Just the thought makes me want to eat my beard, then shave it. Still, sinfully delicious!
