Warner Bros. has finally shown what David Robert Mitchell’s The End of Oak Street actually is, and the answer appears to be a suburban sci-fi mystery with dinosaurs and a family dropped somewhere they should not be. The teaser keeps its hand mostly hidden, but that central image is enough to make it stand out.
Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor lead the footage, which treats the neighbourhood upheaval like a genuine rupture rather than a cute hook. It is odd, unsettling and just specific enough to sell the film without flattening the mystery.
The End of Oak Street lands in cinemas on August 14, 2026.
