Moonbrella is a 2D Metroidvania from developer Jett Williams, following a lone robot across a planet abandoned by humans. Rather than leaning on a standard jump, the game builds its exploration around movement tricks, environmental interaction and the titular umbrella.
The demo trailer gives a small taste of its caves, ancient structures, flowers and gemstones, with a dying sunflower sitting at the centre of the wider journey. It looks like one for players who enjoy backtracking, movement tech and melancholy robots.
Moonbrella is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
