Developed by Sad Cat Studios and published by Thunderful Publishing, REPLACED follows R.E.A.C.H., an AI trapped in a human body, as it navigates the corrupt streets of Phoenix-City. Set in a world shaped by nuclear fallout, the story centres on uncovering the secrets of the powerful Phoenix Corporation and the truth behind the protagonist’s existence.
Blending 2.5D platforming with fast-paced combat, players will run, climb and fight through neon-lit districts and industrial ruins, chaining melee and ranged attacks in fluid encounters. The experience is driven by a narrative focused on identity, control and humanity, supported by detailed pixel art and a synth-heavy soundtrack.
