Season 4.1 of The Outlast Trials, titled Deep Burn, is now live, adding new fiery challenges to Red Barrels’ co-op survival horror. The update introduces the Deep Burn Variator, which fills trials with hazards such as fire mines, flamethrowers, and an increased presence of Murkoff’s resident pyromaniac, the Pitcher.
Players can also take on two new MK-Challenges: Traffick the Product, where you spread Murkoff’s experimental opioid into mafia-controlled streets, and Disrupt the Neighborhood, which sees you tearing down barriers to let outsiders invade. Event tokens earned during the update can be traded for cosmetics in the Deep Burn Catalogue, but they’ll disappear once the event ends.
The Outlast Trials: Deep Burn (Season 4.1) is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
