11 bit studios and Digital Sun Games have confirmed that Christopher Larkin, best known for his work on Hollow Knight, will compose the soundtrack for Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. A new trailer gives fans a first listen at the main theme.
Larkin’s score aims to capture the adventurous tone of the sequel, blending folk, electronic and even industrial elements to reflect the shifting world of shopkeeper-turned-hero Will. According to Digital Sun, the collaboration has been key in shaping a soundtrack that matches the game’s brighter visual style and expanded scope.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault enters Early Access on PC (via Steam) on October 23. The full release will follow on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with Game Pass available on day one.
