Paris-based studio Opus Major has revealed the first gameplay trailer for Majjam during the Future Games Show’s Best of Gamescom 2025 showcase.
Majjam is a co-op PvE adventure where players use rhythm and melodies to fight back against an encroaching fog that threatens to silence the world. Each character embodies a different instrument and style, with abilities powered by Jam cards that allow teams to combine their sounds to battle enemies, solve puzzles and reshape the environment.
Unlike traditional rhythm games, Majjam doesn’t rely on beat-matching. Instead, it auto-harmonises performances online, letting musicians and non-musicians alike create together with no noticeable latency. Players can customise their characters, unlock new musical abilities and explore a vibrant world that reacts dynamically to their performances.
Majjam will launch in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
