IllFonic has announced Halloween, a new asymmetric stealth horror game based on John Carpenter’s 1978 classic. Revealed during the Future Games Show at Gamescom, the title lets players step into the mask of Michael Myers or fight for survival as the townsfolk of Haddonfield.
The game features both single-player and multiplayer modes, recreating iconic locations from the film while focusing on tense one-versus-many encounters. Myers can stalk and eliminate victims or sabotage attempts to call for help, while Civilians must warn residents and disrupt his killing spree.
Halloween will release in 2026 on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
