11 bit studios and The Outer Zone have released the free REBIRTH update for Death Howl, adding a tougher second run for players who have finished the main story. REBIRTH Mode gives enemies new abilities and higher health, reworks Realmless cards and puts Ro in a new blue robe for another trip through the Spirit Realm.
Once REBIRTH Mode has been cleared, Custom Mode unlocks, letting players tweak health, cards, restrictions and other run modifiers. The update also brings balance changes, bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements across the base game.
Death Howl is out now for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
