Sony Pictures has released the first teaser for Resident Evil, giving Zach Cregger’s new take on the horror series its first proper look. The footage follows Bryan, played by Austin Abrams, as one bad night turns into a fight through infected streets and collapsing chaos.
Cregger directs from a script co-written with Shay Hatten, with Zach Cherry, Kali Reis and Paul Walter Hauser also in the cast.
Resident Evil lands in cinemas on September 18, 2026.
