MOUSE: P.I. For Hire has an accolades trailer, pointing to the response to Fumi Games’ black-and-white rubber hose FPS. The game casts players as private investigator Jack Pepper, working through Mouseburg with a mix of noir crime, cartoon weapons and a big band soundtrack.
This one is already out, so the trailer is more of a victory lap than a reveal, but it still does a tidy job of selling the game’s strange mix of old-school shooter and animated detective story.
MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is out now for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
