Deep Silver and KING Art Games have released the second of Dawn of War IV’s faction CGI sequences, this time shifting the spotlight to the Adeptus Mechanicus. The trailer follows Magos Dominus Nulpherus-1 into a dormant Necron tomb on Kronus, which does not stay dormant for very long.
It is more of a mood piece than a systems breakdown, but it does a tidy job of reinforcing the game’s tone and the role the Mechanicus will play in the wider conflict. The surrounding details still point to four playable factions, a large campaign spread across Kronus, returning modes like Skirmish and Last Stand, and the usual scale the series is expected to bring.
