Freestyle Digital Media has released the first trailer for Jaunt, a romantic dramedy built around a chance meeting in Los Angeles that turns into an impulsive road trip up the California coast. The setup is small, but the footage looks like it is aiming for something more character-led than overly polished.
The trailer plays the contrast between its washed-up photographer and its free-spirited Parisian lead without pushing too hard for easy quirks. It feels closer to a scrappy relationship road movie than a broad comedy, which should suit the premise.
