IO Interactive has dropped a new story trailer for 007 First Light, showing how its younger Bond is pulled into MI6 and pushed through the revived 00 programme. It is a more narrative-focused look at the game, with Iceland, the Carpathian Mountains and the Aleph black market all getting some screen time.
The bigger reveal here is how much the game is leaning into Bond’s inexperience. This is still clearly a global spy thriller, but the trailer frames him as talented, reckless and still learning where instinct stops and discipline starts.
007 First Light is launching on May 27, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with Nintendo Switch 2 to follow in Summer 2026.
