Titan Comics and Legendary Comics have posted the trailer for Escape From Skull Island #1, pushing this as the next MonsterVerse comic after Return to Skull Island and an official continuation of the Skull Island animated series.
The footage leans on the setup more than spectacle, teeing up stranded survivors, Kong flashbacks and a fresh threat rising under the island rather than treating it like a straight monster reel.
Escape From Skull Island #1 is landing on January 28, 2026.
