BOOM!’s trailer for Fall of the House of Slaughter sets up a succession fight inside the House as the Old Dragon reaches his final days and Cecilia Slaughter joins the rest of the Heads to decide what comes next. Rather than playing like a side note, the trailer frames this as a wider Slaughterverse power shift with the House and the Order heading towards something uglier.
Tate Brombal writes the mini-series with Adriano Turtulici on art, and the setup is all bloodline politics, ambition and bad choices from the off. It looks like the kind of nasty internal reset this corner of Something is Killing the Children needed.
