The first trailer for Focker In-Law wastes no time getting back into the awkward chaos of the Meet The Parents world. Ariana Grande steps into the franchise as Olivia Jones, the overachieving new girlfriend of Greg Focker’s son Henry, and the footage leans hard into the discomfort, family tension, and inevitable penis jokes you’d expect from this series.
Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Owen Wilson, Teri Polo, Blythe Danner, Beanie Feldstein, and Skyler Gisondo all feature, while franchise veteran John Hamburg writes and directs. It looks like a straight attempt to recapture the energy the series had before Little Focker brought things to a halt.
Focker In-Law launches in November in cinemas.
